1. The Brief

Adidas Germany needed a comprehensive set of digital and retail assets to launch their latest seasonal Sportswear line—apparel designed to bridge the gap between performance gear and casual streetwear.

The challenge was to avoid the dark, overly dramatic “gym” lighting common in performance ads, and instead capture a clean, bright, daylight aesthetic completely inside a studio environment. We also had to maintain an incredibly fast workflow to capture 18 different full-outfit looks over a two-day shoot.

2. What We Did

We built a highly versatile studio environment that allowed models to move naturally while keeping the focus squarely on the fit and texture of the clothing.

• Simulated Daylight Grid: Instead of standard studio strobes, we built a massive overhead diffusion setup paired with continuous LED lighting. This perfectly replicated soft, natural afternoon sunlight, allowing the talent to move freely without losing consistent exposures.

• Dual-Set Efficiency: To hit the tight deadline, we ran two parallel sets. Set A captured full-body motion, walking shots, and lifestyle angles, while Set B was a dedicated macro station focused strictly on material textures, zippers, and footwear details.

• On-the-Fly Directing: We worked with local German athletic talent, keeping the posing relaxed and candid rather than stiff and traditional, matching the everyday nature of the Sportswear line.

3. The Outcome

By engineering a daylight-accurate studio environment, we delivered a massive library of cohesive, premium assets on schedule. The bright, real-world aesthetic gave the collection an approachable feel that translated directly into strong click-through rates on the Adidas German e-com platform.
